Notes from the Workfront: An Interview with Dr. Megan Groninger, Assistant Professor, William Jewell College

Megan Groninger (FSU Ph.D. 2023) discusses how a study abroad stay in undergrad changed her professional life. Spending a semester in England turned her into a British historian; a visit to a historic site influenced her choice of M.A. thesis and Ph.D. dissertation topic.

On average, we have 300 History majors each year. Students build community through the undergraduate History Club and the History Graduate Student Association.

In the past three years, faculty and graduate students won highly prestigious awards from the Stanford Humanities Center, The Newberry Library, The Smithsonian, the Fulbright program, and Dumbarton Oaks (a Harvard University Research Institute).
