About

Danielle Wirsansky is a PhD Candidate in Modern European History at Florida State University and President of the History Graduate Student Association. Her research focuses on gender, resistance, and memory during the Second World War, with particular attention to female agents in the Special Operations Executive (SOE) F-Section. She is a Fulbright Fellow, P.E.O. Scholar, and Elie Wiesel Social Action Fellow. Her most recent publication appears in a special issue of Intelligence and National Security. Danielle is also the founder of White Mouse Productions, a theatre company dedicated to social change, and she frequently integrates public history, performance, and education to explore the ethical legacies of the Holocaust.
