A talk by Professor Jeffrey Merrick, sponsored by the Institute on Napoleon and the French Revolution

The talk will take place April 5 from 4:00 to 5:30 PM in room 2005 of the William Johnston Building.

 

Dr. Merrick is professor emeritus of history at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  He is the author of numerous books and edited volumes including, Family, Gender, and Law in Early Modern France (2012), Order and Disorder under the Ancien Régime (2007), and Homosexuality in French History and Culture (2002).
